Abstract:
To provide an image inspection system that can detect that the cause of image abnormality that rarely occurs lies in a replaced specific component and its replacement work.SOLUTION: An image inspection system comprises: an in-line scanner 12 that optically reads a sheet output from an image forming apparatus 10; an image abnormality detection unit 21 that analyzes the read image and detects abnormality in an image formed on the sheet; a component replacement history management unit 22 that manages the replacement history of components of the image forming apparatus 10; and an abnormality cause determination unit 24 that determines whether the cause of the abnormality in the image lies in component replacement on the basis of the correlation between the component replacement history and the state of occurrence of the abnormality detected by the image abnormality detection unit 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
