Abstract:
To provide a technique that allows a positional information providing device to record positional information expected by an imaging device even during a period when the imaging device and positional information providing device are disconnecting proximity wireless communication such as BLE.SOLUTION: An imaging device including a communication unit for short-range wireless communication and an imaging unit includes: a recording unit that, when the imaging unit takes an image in a state of communicating with a first external apparatus providing positional information via the communication unit, associates the image obtained by imaging with the positional information received from the first external apparatus and records them in a predetermined storage medium; and a control unit that transmits a request for continuing acquisition of the positional information to the first external apparatus in order to secure positional information on an image taken in a disconnection state from the first external apparatus in the case of a predetermined situation of stopping communication with the first external apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
