The image printer 1 includes the plurality of photoreceptor drums 61c, 61m, 61y, 61k, and a laser scanning unit 8 for scanning the plurality of photoreceptor drums 61c, 61m, 61y, 61k while irradiating those with the laser beam. The laser scanning unit 8 irradiates the plurality of photoreceptor drums 61c, 61m, 61y, 61k with the laser beams emitted from a light source part 81 via an f lens 83, a reflecting mirror 84, a prism mirror 85, reflecting mirrors 86c, 86m, 86y, 86k and final mirrors 87c, 87m, 87y, 87k, by turning a biaxial mirror 21 of a biaxial mirror device 82 manufactured by an MEMS technique around two different axes as the centers, and by reflecting the laser beam emitted from the light source part 81 by the biaxial mirror 21, and scans the plurality of photoreceptor drums.
