Abstract:
To provide a method for adjusting positions on a front face and a rear face without using a special configuration.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes: an image data acquisition unit which acquires first-surface image data and second-surface image data; an image processing unit which generates first drawing image data representing an image to be formed on a first surface of a recording medium, on the basis of the first-surface image data; a read image data acquisition unit which acquires read image data obtained by reading the image formed on the first surface of the recording medium on the basis of the first drawing image data; and a correction unit which extracts a feature pixel on the basis of the first-surface image data, and calculates a correction value for correcting the second-surface image data on the basis of a position of the feature pixel and a position of a pixel corresponding to the feature pixel included in the read image data. The image processing unit generates second drawing image data to be formed on a second surface of the recording medium, on the basis of the second-surface image data acquired by the image data acquisition unit and the correction value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
