Abstract:
To solve the problem in which: in a prior art, since reference image data with no errors is translated to generate an image for concealment, in a video in which the size of a display object is changed as in zooming operation of a camera and the display object is rotated, a video of the concealment part becomes different from a video around the concealment part.
An image processing apparatus detects an image with errors, and determines whether to translate a reference image area on the basis of correlation between motion vectors corresponding to a plurality of image areas including the image, or enlarge and project the reference image area, so as to generate a restoration image.
