To suppress crack at a bent outer peripheral side and the occurrence of wrinkles at a bent inner peripheral side without impairing efficiency of which the electric wave is transmitted in a rectangular waveguide, in bending processing of a hollow formed member.
The rectangular waveguide comprises: a metal pipe which has a first side face, a second side face, a third side face and a fourth side face, curves so that the mutually opposing first side face and third side face become an outer peripheral side and an inner peripheral side respectively, and has a rectangular cross section; a first flange which is fixed at one end of the metal pipe and has a first rectangular opening provided therein; and a second flange which is fixed to the other end of the metal pipe and has a second rectangular opening provided therein. The plate thickness of the first side face and the third side face is thicker than that of the second side face and the fourth side face.
