Abstract:
To provide an image processing system suitable for early recognition of an obstacle or the like.SOLUTION: The image processing system includes: image acquisition means for acquiring an image signal generated by imaging means for imaging an optical image having a low distortion area and a high distortion area; setting means for setting a distortion-correction-object area where distortion correction is to be performed on the image signal on the basis of characteristics of the optical image and a non-distortion-correction-object area where no distortion correction is to be performed; and display signal generating means for performing the distortion correction on the image signal of the distortion-correction-object area on the basis of the characteristics of the optical image, and generating a composite image by combining a distortion-corrected image signal and the image signal in the non-distortion-correction-object area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
