A arithmetic processing circuit reads image data for recovery from an imaging device in steps S1, S2 and a degree of blur is entered to the image data. The arithmetic processing circuit calculates weighting of the image data, to which the degree of blur is entered and calculates a mean value of the image data in steps S3, S4. The arithmetic processing circuit uses the calculated weighting to the calculated mean value of the image data, to apply weighted mean processing to the image data in a step S5. The arithmetic processing circuit outputs the image subjected to weighted-averaging to an image display section in a step S6.
