Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor with which the forgery of a duplication-prohibited original is instantly discovered before fully and publicly distributed, and evidence data such as a machine type, what is copied, or how it is copied is easily and reliably obtained, and also to provide a method for stopping copying of duplication prohibited original.
SOLUTION: When an image signal p obtained by an image reading part 1 is specified as coming from the duplication-prohibited original by a feature extracting means 4, a history generating means 5 generates history information t to be evidence data such as the machine type, what is copied, or how it is copied with respect to the copied forgery. Then the history information t is reliably preserved by storing it into a storage means 7.
