Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform compression coding of read both-surface synthetic image data with minimum hardware quantity by selecting pixels that configure the current line or two lines before the current line as a reference image group.
SOLUTION: Both surface synthetic image data SB that is outputted from a switching part 5 is inputted to the current line memory 8a of a line memory part 8. In the part 8, every time image data for one pixel is inputted to the memory 8a, image data for one pixel is shifted from the memory 8a to preceding line memory 8b, and also image data for one pixel is shifted from the memory 8b to two lines before memory 8c. Although a template configuring part 10 always refers to the memory 8a, as for the memory 8b or the memory 8c, it selectively refers either of them according to whether an operating part 7 designates both-surface read or one surface read.
