Abstract:
To quickly and simply record situations at the moment of taking a still image and before and after taking the still image.
An image superimposition apparatus comprises: an image acquisition unit which acquires a moving image of a subject before and after acquiring the still image of the subject; a display unit; an image selection unit which reproduces the moving image on the display unit and selects an image frame included in the moving image from the moving image under reproduction; and a superimposition and recording unit which records the image frame selected by the image selection unit by superimposing the selected image frame on the still image.
