To obtain an image with high vibration-proof accuracy by performing image blur correction of a main subject and image blur correction of a background in a well-balanced manner, even under a proximity photographing condition.
An imaging apparatus includes: exposure control means 18, 113 for sequentially performing photographing to obtain a plurality of images; a weighting setting means 114 for setting weighting for feature points in different regions in an image on the basis of a photographic magnification; a deviation detecting means 115 for detecting the amount of deviation between the images from coordinates of the feature points weighted by the weighting setting means; a coordinate transforming means 116 for transforming the coordinates of the images on the basis of the deviation amount detected by the deviation detecting means; and an image composing means 117 for composing the images which are coordinate-transformed by the coordinate transforming means. The images are composed after corresponding image blurring in accordance with the deviation amount reflected with weighting based on the photographic magnification and image exposure is complemented.
