Abstract:
To provide an imaging apparatus capable of detecting a motion vector accurately.SOLUTION: A photoelectric sensor 208 included in an imaging apparatus can acquire image data of continuous frames, at the time of finder imaging using an optical view finder. When calculating brilliance of a subject, a camera control section 201 performs photoelectric operation, and flicker detection operation in first control. In second control, the camera control section 201 performs photoelectric operation, and vector detection operation for detecting a motion vector of the subject between images of continuous frames acquired by the photoelectric sensor 208. The camera control section 201 and a lens control section (LPU401) calculate an angular speed of the subject for the imaging apparatus by using detection results of the motion vector, and detection information of panning the angular speed of the imaging apparatus detected by an angular speed sensor 402, and performs image blur correction of the subject at the time of panning by controlling drive of a correction lens in an imaging optical system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
