PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and quickly determinate target substance without producing a prozone phenomenon by disposing a specimen-adding part, a marker reaction body, a target-substance solidification carrier, and an anti-reaction body solidification carrier (judgement part) on a base material along the flow of specimen development.
SOLUTION: Sample solution such as urine directly and indirectly added to a specimen addition part 3 composed of a porous carrier in a first area is held and moved by a capillary phenomenon, and target substance is coupled to a marker reaction body (antibody) 4 held in a movable state. A coupled composite body is moved to a second area together with an uncoupled marker reaction body 4, and the excess marker reaction body 4 not coupled to the target substance are absorbed and removed by a target substance solid phase carrier 5 fixing substance having the target substance or the same antigen as the target substance. The marker reaction body (composite body) 4 coupled with the not removed target substance is captured by a carrier (judgement part) 6 having fixed antibody to the marker reaction body 4.
