Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an immunological function suppressor, containing a specific enopyranose derivative which is a new substance as an active ingredient, having suppressing action on the immunological function with hardly any side effects and effective in treating autoimmune, allergic, inflammatory diseases, etc.
CONSTITUTION: 1,6-Anhydro-3,4-dideoxy-β-D-glycero-hexo-3-enopyranos-2-ulose is reduced to provide 1,6-anhydro-3,4-dideoxy-β-D-threo-hexo-3-enopyranose, which is then acylated, carbonated, converted into a carbamic ester, etherified or sulfonylated according to a conventional method to afford the compound expressed by the formula [R1 is H, a (substituted)alkyl, alkenyl, halogen, (substituted)phenyl, etc.; R2 is H or an alkyl; R3 is H or a halogen; R4 is H, a silyl, (substituted)alkyl, etc.; either R5 or R6 is OH, saccharide derivative residue, etc.; another is H, a (substituted)alkyl, etc.; X is H, a (substituted)alkyl, (substituted)phenyl, etc.; Y is H, a (substituted)alkyl, etc.].
