Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an immunosuppressant containing an epoxysuccinic acid derivative.
CONSTITUTION: It has been found that cathepsin B is involved in antigen processing, and the immunosuppressant containing an epoxysuccinic acid derivative having the enzyme inhibitory activity has been produced. This agent can suppress induction of immunity by such inhibitory activity, and so can be used as a medicine for various kinds of autoimmune diseases.
