Abstract:
To minimize an inconvenient influence due to sputters generated during welding an electric resistance welded pipe.SOLUTION: An impeder device 1 to be used to weld an electric resistance welded pipe includes an outer cylinder pipe 10 with both ends closed, and an impeder core 30 housed in the outer cylinder pipe 10 in a state supported by a support rod 20, a flow channel 18 where a refrigerant supplied from an outside part of the outer cylinder pipe 10 and cooling the impeder core 30 flows is provided between the impeder core 30 and the outer cylinder pipe 10, an insertion hole 15 through which the support rod 20 is inserted and an ejection port 16 for ejecting the refrigerant toward the support rod 20 are formed on an end surface of one end side of the outer cylinder pipe 10, and the ejection port 16 is located at the side of a welding place of the electric resistance welded pipe with respect to the insertion hole 15 when the electric resistance welded pipe is welded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
