Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the most effective control method, in which a rolling mill and a leveler are combined, and a device thereof.
CONSTITUTION: In the method and device for controlling a plate shape is such that a metal plate is controlled in the shape of an intermediate elongation or a quarter wave by a rolling mill 1, 2 and that the shape is corrected by the following leveler or a tension leveler 3. A conventional complicated control method by which various roll deformations by rolling mills 1, 2 are controlled by measuring a shape and feeding it back is unnecessitated, and the subject method has the effect of obtaining a flat plate simply and at a low cost.
