The in-vehicle signal receiver 100, for receiving a wireless signal output from a remote controller 200 carried by an operator, includes a receiving circuit 102 for receiving wireless signal; and an ECU 101 (control section 111) that executes a first operating mode (sleep mode) executed at a first operating frequency and awaiting the reception of the wireless signal, a signal processing mode executed at a second operating frequency higher than the operating frequency of the sleep mode and receiving the wireless signal, and a signal determination mode, executed by an operating frequency between the first and the second frequencies and determining the reception of the wireless signal.
