Abstract:
To provide an inclination assisting mechanism for assisting a vehicle in turning a curve by laterally inclining a chassis in a stable state.SOLUTION: An inclination assisting mechanism of the present invention comprises: a first drive mechanism; a first support member; and a second support member. The first drive mechanism is provided on the chassis, the first drive mechanism is drive-connected to both of the first support member and the second support member, and drives so that the first support member and the second support member oscillate in a direction approaching a road surface or in a direction separating from the road surface. Oscillation directions of the first support member and the second support member are opposite to each other. One of these support members oscillates in the direction approaching the road surface and contacts the road surface so that a vehicle body is inclined to the other side, while the other one of these support members oscillates in the direction separating from the road surface and after the vehicle body is inclined to the other side, the support members contact the road surface so as to support the vehicle body, and provide a support point for assisting the vehicle body in turning a curve.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
