Title:
INCUBATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3660397
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To remove a used cuvette from an incubator without generating an error by starting a cuvette discharging process after reading the cuvette by a luminometer.
CONSTITUTION: Discharge holes 300 are arranged along the circumference 302 of the second ring 54 of an incubator with respect to the holding ports 58 of the second ring 54 and connected to the holding holes 58 through slots 304. The inner diameter DI of the discharge ports 58 is sufficiently larger than the max. diameter of a cuvette C' and the cuvette C' is supported from below by a support rail 310 to be prevented from falling from the discharge ports 300. When the inside support ring 54 is rotated after the cuvette C' is read by a luminometer 32, the support rail 310 is interrupted in a discharge station 82 and the support ring 54 is rotated until the discharge port 300 holding the used cuvette C' therein coincides with the chute of the station 82 and the cuvette C' falls from the incubator to be discharged.
