Abstract:
PURPOSE:To inform securely other ships of its own presence without degrading the efficiency of propulsion by providing on the stern of the above-captioned boat with a water jetting device directing one end under the water in the direction of water flow and the other end upward on the water. CONSTITUTION:A compact jet propulsion boat rotates a propeller interposed under the water path at the lower rear end of a seat 5 with an engine provided in an engine room in a hull 1 constituted from a bottom plate 2 and an upper deck coupled with each other on the peripheral edges. And water attracted from a suction port in the bottom of boat by rotating the propeller is jetted from a nozzle 7 provided to change its direction at the rear end of water path to obtain a thrust. In this case, on the bottom of stern of hull 1 is disposed a water jet pipe 8 having one end directed under the water in the direction of water flow and the other end directed upward on the water and fixed by a fixing means 80. And in sailing, water is jetted upward from the water jet pipe 8 to indicate the presence of the boat.
