When the transmission ratio between rotary shafts 24, 29 is switched by a connection link comprising arms 46, 47 and an operation rod 45, turning cams 43, 44 in cam mechanisms A, B of variable pulleys 25, 27 are interlockingly connected by a transmission switching mechanism C, and, for example, the turning cam 43 is turned around the rotary shaft 24, a movable split pulley 25b of the pulley 25 is moved in the axial direction, a movable split pulley 27b of the pulley 27 is moved, and the transmission ratio between the rotary shafts 24, 29 is changed thereby. When the movable split pulleys 25b, 27b are driven by the cam mechanisms A, B, the opening/closing position of the pulleys 25, 27 can be firmly fixed, and the transmission ratio can be kept constant even when the load fluctuation is generated.
