PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To intelligibly display information about a vehicle to a user.SOLUTION: On a surface of a plastic part 12 on the outer side of a vehicle, a thin-film reflector 18 is provided at a position opposing to a display character 16. The reflector 18 is formed by a metal foil and the like. A base plate 20 is provided at the lower part of the plastic part 12. A light emitting diode 22 is fixed to the upper edge of the base plate 20. A door sensor 24 is connected to the base plate 20 through a conducting wire 21. When a door is detected to be in an unlock state, a control circuit provided in the base plate 20 turns on the light emitting diode 22. The light emitting diode 22 makes light enter from the lower edge of the plastic part 12. The light is guided to the plastic part 12 which serves as a light guide path, and the light entering the reflector 18 is reflected on the cabin side. The light reaching the display character 16 is scattered, and the unlock state of the door is displayed.
