Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily erase all the data file and to reduce erasing time by selecting which to erase all the recorded data files or the data file with a specified extender among them.
CONSTITUTION: In an image recording and reproducing device being one of the execution examples of an information operating device, a whole erasing mode 1 erases all the piece of recording data in a memory card 3 or a floppy disk 5, and a whole erasing mode 2 erases a data file with a specified extender among the data files. Which erasing mode to select is specified on a monitor screen by turning on the whole erasing processing switch of an operation switch 16 on a front panel. Thereby, operation for erasing all the data file is facilitated and erasing time is reduced.
