Abstract:
To provide a mechanism for selecting a cryptographic module to be suitably used according to an algorithm currently available in each cryptographic module when having a plurality of types of cryptographic modules.SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus includes: a first cryptographic module (214); and a second cryptographic module (215) that is higher in security than the first cryptographic module. A list of cryptographic algorithms that can be executed by the second cryptographic module is stored. Further, when the information processing apparatus receives an execution request for the cryptographic function from any application, by using the cryptographic algorithm and the cryptographic mode specified in the execution request and the above list, the cryptographic module that executes the cryptographic algorithm is called.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
