Abstract:
To provide an information processing apparatus that can efficiently prevent timeout errors due to the start of application programs during preparations to execute programs that should operate in cooperation.
When started, an AV application program 101 acquires an elapsed time from the start of an operating system 102 to the present. If the acquired elapsed time exceeds an environment startup time, the AV application program 101 uses a normal timeout time in executing a service program status check process. If the acquired elapsed time is within the environment startup time, meanwhile, the AV application program 101 uses a timeout time longer than the normal timeout time in executing the service program status check process.
