A plurality of pictures in which components constituting the same picture are to be arranged are specified, and identical components are arranged in the specified pictures. The pictures in which the identical components are arranged are associatively managed so that when management information on the component is changed, management information on the identical components can be changed. When the management information on the arranged component is changed, the pictures in which the components identical to the changed component are arranged are specified, the management information on the components which are in the specified pictures and identical to the changed component is changed using the management information on the changed component.
