Abstract:
To solve a problem in which a standard printer driver provided by an OS is not a printer driver provided by a vendor of a printing device, so that the standard printer driver does not have prohibition information or a prohibition script adapted to the printing device used for printing, and consequently it is not possible to create print data adapted to the printing device used for printing.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus that stores a file in which a combination of first setting values is stored, acquires a combination of second setting values from an image forming apparatus, and based on the combination of the first setting values stored in the file and the combination of the second setting values acquired from the image forming apparatus, performs control so that a combination of setting values that cannot be used is not included in the print settings.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
