Abstract:
To provide a traceability system and a box packing apparatus which can trace an article packed in a box, even in box packing process, when the article is packed by a box packing apparatus.SOLUTION: A production management system 100 comprises: a first acquisition unit 72 which acquires a bag serial number S1 for identifying each of articles M conveyed to a box packing apparatus 7; a second acquisition unit 78 which acquires a box serial number S2 for identifying a carton C used for packing the articles M in the box packing apparatus 7; a storage device 9 which stores various information; and a management device 8 which generates box packing information T5 which associates the box serial number S2 acquired by the second acquisition unit 78, with the bag serial number S1 corresponding to the articles M packed in the carton C identified by the box serial number S2, and stores the generated box packing information T5 in the storage device 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
