Abstract:
To output, upon outputting background image data and character image data having character data superimposed on the background image data, character image data having less influence of the superimposition relative to color relation between the background image data and the character data, as compared with that obtained when the character image data is output on an as-is basis.SOLUTION: Character image data including background image data and character data superimposed on the background image data is received. Representative color information of the background image data in a region where the character data is superimposed, is extracted. If a color relationship between color information of the character data and the representative color information has a specific color relationship, then the character data is changed so that the color relationship should not be matched with the specific color relationship.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
