Abstract:
To provide an information processing apparatus adapted to perform inventory control by obtaining a correct location of an article through a simple configuration and at low cost.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus, using an inventory control system configured by an imaging device for imaging an identifier affixed to an article arranged in an inventory control area and the information processing apparatus, has a storage section, identifier recognition means and storage-location calculating means. The identifier recognition means recognizes an identifier from image data the imaging device has imaged. The storage-location calculating means calculates an angle-of-view enlargement coefficient by dividing angle-of-view data of the identifier by reference angle-of-view data and calculates arrangement-location data for the article from the angle-of-view enlargement coefficient and the image location of the identifier.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
