To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor that prevents an increase in residual potential when repeated images are formed.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic photoreceptor comprises: a conductive substrate; a photosensitive layer that is provided on the conductive substrate; and an undercoat layer that is provided between the conductive substrate and photosensitive layer, and has a charge transport material containing at least one of a specific naphthalenetetracarboxylic acid diimide compound and a specific perylenetetracarboxylic diimide compound, having an oxazole structure, or a thiazole structure, or a benzoxazole structure, or a benzothiazole structure.SELECTED DRAWING: None
