Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of preventing the rising failure of a system due to the incompleteness of the update of a program.
SOLUTION: In this information processor, a program transmitted from an outside device by a communicating medium such as broadcasting waves or a telephone line is received through an outside interface 17, and when the version of the received program is newer than the version of a program for a system which is executed at present in this device, the received program is stored in a flash memory B13 different from a flash memory A12 in which the program for the system is stored, and an MPU 10 is started by the program stored in the flash memory B13 at the time of the next rising.
