To resolve a problem in periodic maintenance of an electrical appliance for domestic use such as replacement and internal cleaning which a consumer tends to forget and it is desirable to provide relevant information to the consumer from a seller.

The information relevant to the maintenance of the appliance, possession information of each customer and maintenance history information per each possession are held in a seller side, and when a maintenance date approaches, it is notified to each customer by using a web page or E-mail. As a reply to the notification, a request for maintenance work is sent from a customer side to the seller side.
