Title:
INFRARED DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH06186079
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an infrared detector whose heat resistance is reduced by contact with the end of a cold finger effected by a simple and rigid structure and in which the temperature difference between an infrared detecting element and a cold finger can be reduced so that the use of refrigerators with small capacities is made possible.

CONSTITUTION: A metallic plate 8 having a coefficient of thermal expansion smaller than that of a cold finger 9 and having recesses 8a-8h for deformation formed therein is mounted to the end of the cold finger 9 at its peripheral edge, and is deformed by cooling of the cold finger 9 so as to abut to a vacuum vessel 6.
