Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding machine capable of preventing a position detector from being contaminated by oil due to scattering of oil from a mechanism section of the injection molding machine.SOLUTION: A position detector (linear scale) body 3 is installed on a gate rail 5 which is fixed to the machine base 7 by a gate rail support member 6, using a bracket 4. A probe 2 of the position detector (linear scale) is installed at a rear platen 12 on the machine base 7 by using a probe bracket 1 of the position detector (linear scale). Thus, the position detector (linear scale) body bracket 4 mainly functions as a shielding object with respect to scattering of oil toward the position detector (linear scale) body 3, and the probe bracket 1 of the position detector (linear scale) mainly functions as a shielding object with respect to the scattering of the oil with respect to the probe 2 of the position detector (linear scale), thereby protecting the position detector from the contamination by the scattering of oil.
