PURPOSE: To prevent a movable platen from advancing by forming a shutter group provided on the movable platen side in contact with the side face of a cam of a rod provided on the fixed platen side in a safety door opening position.
CONSTITUTION: When the mold closing of a movable platen 5 with a shutter group 33 is going on and the side face of the movable platen of an oblong cam section of a rod 13 is in the range of the thickness of the shutter, the rod 13 is rotated by 90° by opening a safety door 11 and the position of the oblong cam section is varied from vertically long to laterally long. As the cam section is not reached, the whole surface of the closed shutter and the side face of the movable platen side of the oblong cam section of the rod 13 are in contact with each other. At that position, the movable platen is prevented from advancing and the molding by closing action is discontinued. The mold closing is discontinued at any optional position during mold closing by opening the safety door 11 to follow said process of action.
