Title:
INK COLLECTOR FOR PRINTING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH09123418
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To collect ink, cleaning liquid, etc., adhering to the outer circumferential surface of an ink roll surely by bringing a doctor blade into contact with one ink roller to stop the rotation of the other ink roll through rotary braking and then enlarging the gap at the nip part of ink roll by means of a roll moving mechanism.

When ink is collected at the nip part of an ink roll, a doctor blade 6 is brought into contact with the outer circumferential surface of an anilox roll 1 and then the rotation of a rubber roll 2 is stopped through a brake means 14. Subsequently, the motor 15 of a rotary brake controller 5 is driven to turn an eccentric bearing 13 and to move the rubber roll 2 thus opening the gap between the anilox roll 1 and rubber roll 2 gradually. Consequently, almost all ink 16 at the nip part is moved onto the outer circumferential surface on the anilox roll 1 side and scraped by means of the doctor blade 6 touching the anilox roll 1 and collected through a box 7 or the like.
