Abstract:

To provide an ink composition for an aqueous ball-point pen hardly having blurring even at a writing start part, having smooth writing feeling, clear stops, clear sweeping strokes and clear sharp upward finishes, and capable of writing a sharp and beautiful drawn line which becomes beautiful characters.

A ink composition for an aqueous ball-point pen contains at least water and a coloring agent, and has a dilatant fluid property in at least a certain area of a shear rate of 1 to 383 s-1 (25°C).
