Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink jet device capable of being manufactured efficiently, and preventing contamination with foreign matter such as dust, in spite of having a wide variety of filters.SOLUTION: The ink jet device includes a filter for filtering ink to be supplied to an ink jet head. The filter includes: a filter element; a filter case for storing the filter element; and multiple joints capable of being connected to an ink supply source. The filter case has: an ink inlet located on an upstream side of the filter element, along a flow direction of ink; and an ink outlet located on a downstream side of the filter element, along the flow direction of ink. The joints have shapes different from each other, and one of the multiple joints is selectively and detachably connected to the ink inlet of the filter case.
