Title:
INK JET RECORDING METHOD BY HEAT ENERGY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5567474
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To save energy, to speed up the recording and to extend the life of device in the ink jet recording system by heat energy by providing a multiplicity of heaters to the ink cell and by heating them from one at a further distance from the orifice on sequence.

CONSTITUTION: A heater 4 that gives heat energy to the ink is provided to the ink cell 2 with an orifice 6, and state of ink is changed by exothermic action of the heater corresponding to a pulse signal to jet a drop of ink. A multiplicity of heaters 41, 42, 43 is installed on the ink cell 2, a pulse power is supplied to the heaters from heater 41 to heater 43 sequentially on shifting the phase. In this way, the motive power produced by the change of ink state can efficiently be used to jet a drop of ink.
