Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform regular winding of a ribbon without cutting of the ribbon even for a ribbon with a narrow width in an ink ribbon cassette applied for a tape printing device which can use commonly both a tape cassette with a narrow width and a tape cassette with a wide width.
SOLUTION: Frictional force generated by means of a clutch spring 104 is set to such a large value that is necessary for winding an ink ribbon 22 of a wide tape cassette. A spool spring 94 decreases winding torque of the ink ribbon 22 by that a ribbon winding spool generates a frictional torque taking on a torque generated from the clutch spring 104 of the ink ribbon 22.
