Title:
INK RIBBON TAKE-UP DEVICE FOR HEAT TRANSFER RECORDER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59230784
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the titled device enabling to simplify an ink ribbon feeding device provided on a carriage and to reduce the size of the entire body of a recorder, wherein a slipping mechanism is contained in an ink ribbon cassette.

CONSTITUTION: A slipping mechanism is provided in each of ink ribbon cassettes 30, 31, 32. A friction plate 45 is intermediately provided between take-up cores 43, 44, and is strongly pressed by a leaf spring 46. When a pulley 39 is rotated concurrently with movement of the carriage 44 and the take-up core 43 is rotated, the take-up core 44 is also rotated to take up a used ink ribbon. When the take-up diameter of the ink ribbon is gradually increased and the take-up torque reaches or exceeds a predetermined value, the core 43 and the core 44 slip so that unnecessary high tension is not exerted on the ink ribbon.
