Abstract:
To provide an ink set for ink jet recording requiring no special mechanism in a printer, reducing feathering and color bleeding and capable of presenting clear color recordings even when applied to common paper.
This ink set for ink jet recording comprises a plurality of color inks. At least one ink contains glycerol. All the inks except the glycerol- containing ink contain a water soluble organic solvent incompatible with glycerol.
