To provide an inkjet recording apparatus capable of adjusting a relative deviation in an arrangement direction of discharge ports between a pair of recording heads.
An inkjet recording apparatus includes a pair of recording heads each having a discharge port surface 23 on which a plurality of discharge ports is arranged, a head holder 10 on which the pair of recording heads is loaded side by side in a scanning direction B, and a carriage including a translator for moving the head holder 10 in the scanning direction B. The head holder 10 includes deformation members 11 and 12 that surround the pair of recording heads, and abutment members 13a and 13b and pressing members 14, which are arranged to oppose each other with the discharge port surface 23 of each of the recording heads sandwiched therebetween in a conveyance direction A, inside the deformation members 11 and 12. The deformation members 11 and 12 can perform deformation to change an inner distance D of a central portion positioned between the pair of recording heads. The pressing members 14 are elastically deformed to correspond to the deformation of the deformation members 11 and 12. The elastic deformation causes an inclination of each of the discharge port surfaces 23 to the scanning direction B to be changed.
