Title:
INKJET RECORDING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004202708
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an inkjet recording method which has a good discharge stability of a pigment ink from an inkjet recording head, particularly, a discharge stability under a low-temperature and low-humidity environment, and is also superior in terms of friction resistance and water resistance of formed images.

According to the inkjet recording method, a water ink containing a coloring agent, water, a water soluble organic solvent and a polymer is discharged from the recording head. In the inkjet recording method, a carboxylic acid content per 1 g of a solid content of the water ink is 0.02-5.0 mmol. Moreover, minute vibration is applied during printing to meniscuses of resting nozzles of the recording head by a voltage of 0.5-0.9 times of an ink discharge voltage. A time of 0.5-2.0 AL later after the minute vibration of the resting nozzles is stopped, the water ink is discharged from the resting nozzles.
