Abstract:

To obtain fireproof clothe capable of efficiently cooling the shoulder parts, etc., of an upper garment by vaporization of water, impregnating a felt with water at good operating efficiency and facilitating a fire fighting activity of a wearer.

The inner clothes of fireproof clothes are obtained by using moisture permeable and waterproof cloths in a right side cloth 4 and an upper back side cloth 5 provided in the inner clothes of the upper garment in fireproof clothes comprising the upper garment and trousers respectively composed of the outer clothes and the inner clothes. A window hole 14 formed in the back body part 8 of the upper back side cloth 5 is covered with right and back meshes 16a and 16b and the lower ends thereof are connected to a twofold water receiving cloth 16c. The lateral edges of the right side and back meshes 16a and 16b and the lower edges thereof are secured to the outer lateral parts of the window hole 14 to compose a housing bag 16. A cooling sheet 15 having a mesh 15c provided on the surface of a felt 15b having a thin rubber layer 15b on the back side is dipped in water and detachably fitted and held in the interior of the housing bag 16. The water impregpating the felt 15b therewith is efficiently vaporized when wearing the upper garment and trousers and performing a fire fighting activity.
