To adhere a cover to an inner deck without generating wrinkles and to perform removal of the inner deck from a body frame and re-mounting of the inner deck to the body frame without requiring work for peeling off the cover from the inner deck and work for adhering the inner deck again.
The inner deck mounting structure for the passenger conveyor comprises a screw 6 for mounting the inner deck 4 to the body frame 8; and a transparent synthetic resin, for example, adhered to the inner deck 4 so as to cover the screw 6 and includes a cover 7 formed with an insertion hole 7a for allowing insertion of a distal end of a driver at a position opposed to a head part 6a of the screw 6. The cover 7 surrounds the head part 6a of the screw 6, is retained to the head part 6a of the screw 6 in the non-adhesion state and is provided with a projection part 7b formed with the insertion hole 7a at an end positioned at a step side. A diameter dimension F of the insertion hole 7a is set to a smaller dimension than a diameter dimension E of the head part 6a of the screw 6 and an end of the projection part 7b is formed so as to be positioned at a step side than the end of the screw 6.
