Abstract:

PURPOSE: To eliminate danger that an inorganic fibrous filler comes off a mounting hole and improve efficiency in execution work by disposing a combustible holding member outside an inorganic fibrous material and holding the inorganic fibrous material in a state that the same is at least compressed in a radial direction, in relation to an organic fibrous filler for filling a mounting hole of an inorganic fibrous block.
CONSTITUTION: An inorganic fibrous filler 1, which is suitably used for filling a mounting hole of an inorganic fibrous block which is used widely as a furnace wall material (lining material) for various industrial furnaces, mainly comprises an inorganic fibrous material. (bracket) 2 and is formed into a columnar shape. A holding member 3 covering the outside of the filler 1 holds the inorganic fibrous material 2 in a state that the same is at least compressed in a radial direction. The filler 1 is made of the inorganic fibrous material 2 having the same material as that of the inorganic fibrous block 5, and an inorganic fiber comprising the one formed by mixing alumina-silica fibers, mullite fibers or the like, each being heat-treated, is preferably used for the filler as a material. Also, combustible yarn is used as the holding member 3.
